This tour will be led by a docent, and will focus on the history of the gardens and the architecture of the Manor house, not on plant identification. However, it should be a great time to see the garden with its fully developed annual color and the fall perennials beginning their show!
The tour will be held, rain or shine, so please bring an umbrella along if the weather is rainy. After the tour we are welcome to ‘lunch’ together (brown bagging it is suggested) either at picnic tables, at Café Tables, or on blankets anywhere on the lawn. There will be a food cart available with a limited selection of sandwiches, beverages and coffee. After lunch you’re welcome to tour the home on your own.
