Description

New Growth Landscaping began as a design/build/maintenance company, running that way for 20 years. Currently, I design and consult, providing clients with landscape plans that meet their aesthetic and practical needs.

My commitment to a local, organic, and sustainable food system was the impetus for the Wood Road Salad Farm. I grow specialty and heirloom varieties of greens, vegetables, and cut flowers with a focus on building nutrient dense soil.  After 17 years of selling at local farmer’s markets I now sell from the farm May through October. Email me to receive my farm newsletter and check my FaceBook page for open days, farm tours, and classes.

I lead holiday greenery workshops for garden clubs; making wreaths, table, and outdoor arrangements.

November and December my focus turns to custom order wreaths along with on-site decorating of porch pots and window boxes, sourcing many fresh materials from local nurseries.

From landscape design to organic market gardening to creating one-of-a-kind wreaths and floral displays, it all grew out of the Art Education degree I received back in 1979.
