Set your GPS to steer you north and east for a late summer Design Network gathering at The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison. We’ll enjoy some dinner together first then walk it off wandering around the beds of leafy greens, carrots, herbs, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, beans, flowers, lavender, willow, and whatever else I’ve shoved into the ground for a last minute late season planting by then! This 5 acre property has been a 20 year project, starting on the bare ground of what was a hay field for many years. It is always a work in progress.
We’ll call it a potluck for dinner but I’ll plan to have a main dish like pizza or chicken, beverages, and you can bring a side if you like.
